Chopped apples, apple jelly and green onions add sweet and savory flavor to these mouthwatering broiled turkey burgers, served with a tempting apple-chili sauce that's so easy to make!

Ingredients

0.75 pound 5% lean ground turkey
0.5 cup chopped peeled apple
2 green onion, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
0.75 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
0.25 teaspoon salt
0.125 teaspoon apple pie spice or 1 pinch each ground cinnamon and allspice
0.5 cup chili sauce
0.5 cup Smucker's® apple jelly
4 Pepperidge Farm® Soft White Hamburger Buns, split and toasted

Instructions

Heat the broiler.  Spray a broiler pan with vegetable cooking spray.
Thoroughly mix the turkey, apple, green onions, lemon pepper, salt and apple pie spice in a medium bowl.  Shape the turkey mixture into 4 (3/4-inch thick) burgers.
Broil the burgers 6 inches from the heat for 10 minutes or until cooked through, turning them over once halfway through the broiling time.
Heat the chili sauce and jelly in a 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until the mixture is hot and bubbling, stirring occasionally.
Top the burgers with the chili sauce mixture.  Serve the burgers on the buns.
